EXCEL 2003: AutoMagic will now import XML files without having to change the extension to TXT, even if using Excel 2003. ECONOCALC: Added a line to REMOVE commodities, whether for impending PC loss, or season change. (Note that it does NOT automatically calculate season change data. Player needs to estimate that themselves, if they want to.) Added two lines for BIDS, (bid price and ammount). The BID section does not factor in the 20% buy/sell SNA bonus. Also, all orders costs (except buy/sells) are now automatically calculated when the relevant order is input on the ORDERS sheet. ARTIFACTS: Consolidated primary artifact abilities into one column, to be compatible with AutoMinister's artifact listing. ORDERS: Automated orders costs. (See above) Enhanced data import. For those familiar with Excel, Comments are notes you can place within a cell. They are represented by small, red triangles in the upper right corner of the cell. When you move the mouse cursor over the cell, the contents of the note will pop-up in a small text box. AutoMagic has used these Comments for various helpful info. It will now also use these comments to enhance the info imported from the XML file in the following way: ARTIFACTS: If a character possesses any artifacts, a Comment will be added to the CHARACTER NAME cell showing these artifacts. ARMIES: If a character is in command of an army, a Comment will be added to the HEX LOCATION cell showing the contents of the army, including troop numbers and characters travelling with the army. SPELLS: If a character is a mage, a Comment will be added to the SKILLS cell showing the mage's spells, including name, number, and casting rank. Note that these comments will be cleared out (and replaced by new data) when a new XML file import is done. One item to note is that there is no longer a TRANSFER DATA button. Due to the extensive changes in the formulas and codes I had to make, attempting to transfer orders data from an older file can cause an error. It is recommened that you start using this new revision by importing a fresh XML file and inputting orders from scratch. (The best time would obviously be at the start of a new turn.)
