Who Am I?
You are in charge of one of the nations of Middle-earth, and it is you who directs your nation to victory or defeat. You are not, however, an actual presence in the game world. Instead, you give orders to your leaders: characters who then command your armies, build your cities, and fight in your name.
Every turn, you give orders to each of your leaders, orders which cover everything from leading armies into battle and defending the walls of your cities, to casting spells and conjuring forth hordes to do your bidding, to scouting enemy territory and even assassinating your enemies.
And who are these brave few willing to fight on your behalf for control of Middle Earth? They are the heroes, and the villains, the mages and the thieves, those who have risen up from the common ranks of peasantry and soldier as well as those lucky enough to be born into power. And they include many names familiar to all those who share a love of Tolkien...Saruman, Boromir, the Witch King and Galadriel, as well as others whom you can name for yourself.
